their project with the New York Epilepsy Foundation, the success of using their
research based Heart coherence techniques and the astonishing results!
(...and they're based right here in Santa Cruz County!)
May's meeting was general Support and Information, but we had a visitor, Debra Lee from Valeant Pharmaceuticals, who gave us valuable information on the Diastat Acudial.
At April's meeting we hosted a presentation by Jason Brim of Cyberonics on the VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulator) entitled:
Treatment Options if Drugs Don’t Work for Your Seizures
This was a great opportunity to learn about a successful, non-drug option,
covered by most insurances including MediCal!

PROGRESSIVE WINE 'CRUZ' BENEFIT
Our theme was "THE CLASSICS" --- what a success, and what fun!!!
We had a delightful day of wine, food, music and fun on our Progressive Wine 'Cruz'. We relaxed and let our luxurious AITS, Inc. Land Yachts transport us in comfort and style to four different venues for wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres including Michael's on Main, Hunter Hill Winery, Sanderling's, Pelican Ranch Wines, and more! After an afternoon of tasting, we devoured decadent desserts at Michael's on Main, accompanied by champagne and kir royales complimented by luscious Bonny Doon Framboise! There was live music by 7th Wave with a silent and live auction including classic car outings and wines, lavish baskets, getaways, and a whole lot more! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS NEXT YEAR!!!
