Susan Hogue, our Executive Director, enjoyed the honor of being chosen to speak at the 2003 Annual Legislative Breakfast, hosted by the San Andreas Regional Center and the Service Providers Association, at Seascape Golf Club in Aptos. Other speakers included Senator Bruce McPherson, and Assembly Members John Laird and Simon Salinas.
The theme was "Preserve Lanterman, Protect Services". The breakfast focused on the importance of protecting the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Act and all the fundamental rights entitled to individuals with developmental disabilities. If you'd like to read Susan's speech, click here.
